Why Dyer Design Glassworks

Glass Treated as Structure, Not Surface

Every illuminated piece is shaped to hold space, carry light, and create a presence that commands quietly. Designed around the environment itself rather than applied to it, and built to outshine imported sintered glass and illuminated stone.

One of One

Every piece is built for a single space and backed by a Certificate of Authenticity. We never reproduce. What you commission exists once.

Made in Florida

Designed and made entirely in Florida, from the first idea to the finished piece. No import, no ocean freight, no lead time waiting on a catalog slab.

Integrated RGBW & LED

Lighting engineered into the piece for depth, atmosphere, and controlled color that shifts through the day and on command.

What Sets a Dyer Original Apart

Each of the others gets one part right. A Dyer original is the only one that brings them all together, the glass, the depth, the true color, the control, and the hand of the artist.

A Record of Originals

Every surface holds intention, and once complete, it holds the room. The color change only shows in motion, so the portfolio leads with video: illuminated feature walls and waterfalls, luxury tables, and one of one collector pieces, each shifting through its full range of light.

Made Here

Entirely in Florida

Designed, made, and lit by Christopher and the studio in Fort Lauderdale. Nothing is imported and nothing is outsourced overseas.

How It Works

From First Conversation to Final Install

Every project is planned around your actual space, not a generic template. Four steps, so you know what happens at each one.

STEP 01

Consultation & Concept

We start with the architecture, the light, the interior direction, and the feeling the space should create.

STEP 02

Design & Planning

Panel layout, proportions, imagery, and the integrated lighting are planned so the finished piece feels cohesive and intentional.

STEP 03

Made in the Studio

Each piece is made specifically for your dimensions and finish, then lit with integrated RGBW.

STEP 04

Installation

We install with attention to alignment, finish quality, and lighting balance, so it integrates seamlessly and holds the room.

Before You Commission

Questions People Usually Ask First

Is every piece fully custom? +

Yes. Every piece is designed for a single space and made once. We do not sell a catalog or reproduce a commission. Each project is designed around your architecture, light, and the result you want, then backed by a Certificate of Authenticity.

How does the lighting work, and is it built to last? +

Lighting is integrated into the piece using RGBW and LED systems, engineered for depth and controlled color that can shift through the day or hold a single tone. It is planned as part of the design, not added after, so it is clean, durable, and built into the architecture.

What kinds of spaces do you work in? +

Residential, hospitality, and commercial. Feature walls, wall art, tables, countertops and surfaces, showers, partitions, ceilings, floors, wine walls, elevators, lobbies, restaurants and bars, yachts, and one of one collector automotive art. If it can be built in glass, we can build it.

How is a commissioned piece different from ordering custom glass from a glass shop? +

A glass shop cuts and finishes stock glass. We author an original, illuminated, one of one piece designed for your space, lit with integrated RGBW, made entirely in Florida, and delivered with a Certificate of Authenticity. It is art and architecture, not a stock order.

What does a commissioned piece cost, and how long does it take? +

Because every piece is one of one, cost and timeline depend on the size, complexity, imagery, and installation. We scope it precisely during your consultation and give you a clear proposal before anything is built. Reach Christopher at (954) 593-9844 to start.

Do you install the work, or coordinate with our contractor? +

Both. We install with attention to alignment, finish, and lighting balance, and we coordinate directly with your designer, architect, or builder so the piece integrates seamlessly into the project.

Can we see the work in person? +

Yes. Our studio in Fort Lauderdale's Thrive District is open by appointment, and it is the best way to experience the depth, color, and motion that photos only hint at. Designers, architects, builders, and clients are all welcome.
